SlideShare, now available for free on the App Store, has its own, free Android app, also called SlideShare presentations. The software is beautiful, straightforward to use, and it is bound to satisfy even slide fanatics. (They really exist, don't they?) The app runs on Apple's new iOS and OS X operating systems, and works wonderfully on both phones. SlideShare will easily connect to your SlideShare presentations on any smart Android phone.
One of SlideShare's many selling points is that it's a completely free slideshow maker. With these apps, you can create professional looking videos with the ease and comfort of your own computer. Not only can you create the videos, but you can also edit them at any time. What's more, these apps are compatible with most Android phones that run on Jellybean, Kit Kat, or Ice Cream Sandwich.
While it's nice to have an iPhone app that works on the go, SlideShare doesn't really take advantage of the Apple mobile device's full potential. The free version only offers two pre-designed slides, so if you're not a serious slide show addict you probably won't find this app helpful much. If your idea of a good time is a video conference with your friends, then you're going to need something more extensive and powerful than a free app like SlideShare. Fortunately, there are a number of high-quality apps on the Android Market that can blow SlideShare out of the water when it comes to quality.
